I met Heather & Gary almost a year ago before I moved out of Las Vegas to photograph their engagement photos along with their Heather’s daughter’s senior portraits. I knew they were going to be a great couple and was super excited that I was also asked to photograph their wedding. And so the day arrived, I flew into Las Vegas for the weekend and headed to Heather & Gary’s beautiful sunset golf course wedding at the Revere Golf Club.Since their ceremony was going to be at sunset, we decided to meet earlier in the day so I could photograph Heather & Gary before the ceremony to make sure we weren’t rushing through their photos. I’m so glad we did because we captured so many absolutely gorgeous photographs in some very beautiful scenery. It was definitely a little hot in Las Vegas. But I think Heather and Gary were ready to bring in their own heat. [see image below]The amazing thing about their venue is that the Revere Golf Club overlooks the Las Vegas Strip. Can you see the faint horizon of the famous boulevard?I do tend to lie to my brides and grooms. This image below was one of those times… I told them I was “done” taking pictures and as they were walking down the hill I yelled back for them to stop as I took one last image before we headed back inside. I just absolutely fell in love with the contrast of color. And then it started. The reason why everyone is dressed to the nines. Heather was accompanied by her two beautiful daughters who gave her away at the altar. The view was breathtaking and Gary was so ecstatic to see his bride walking towards him. It was a super emotion and super beautiful moment. This is definitely the reason why I can say that I absolutely love my job.The ceremony was so beautiful. There were quite a few tears from both the bride & groom, as well as guests and family members. You can definitely tell when two souls are meant to be.Once the ceremony was complete, we headed back down towards the reception area and I snuck in early to photograph their beautiful table settings. I absolutely love the use of bright colors! Ahem, I love them so much I may have used the same color scheme at my wedding. 🙂
I’ll end this blog post with an image I took right after the ceremony as the sun was setting. Heather & Gary, I hope you have as beautiful of a life together as you did a wedding. Thank you so much for letting me be part of your day and capturing so many amazing moments. I hope you keep your memories close and each other even closer. Until next blog!
