I don’t know if I can mention just how much I love Oregon and how happy my husband and I are with our decision to relocate here about a year and a half ago. One of the best things of Oregon is being able to take amazing day trips outside of Portland and find other just as amazing locations to fall in love with.
And so, we drove towards Newport, Oregon in search of that beautiful Oregon Coast with camera in tow. Here are a few images from our little mini cation on Fourth of July. Now I can officially call myself an Oregon coast photographer. And as you can see, our first view of Newport wasn’t too shabby.
We found two lighthouses. Obviously, this one was my fave: Yaquina Head Lighthouse is so beautiful. The lighthouse is surrounded by beautiful fields of flowers, breathtaking cliffs with waves crashing against them. Really, that’s exactly what it looks like.A did a longer exposure so I could catch the water flow as it came to shore.
Probably one of the pretties views I’ve seen so far. Apparently that little cave was formed by lava! This last one was at Depoe Bay, apparently the smallest harbor in America. Sounds like a bucket list scratch off to me!
So there you go, a really quick short trip which breathtaking scenery. Until next blog!
