Dustin & Erin – Columbia Country Club Wedding
The day and venue were gorgeous for Dustin & Erin’s big day. Their country club wedding included a lovely outdoor area with blooming florals and landscapes of flowing green hills.

I met Erin and she cheerfully lead the way down to the first look. Her gorgeous veil trailed behind her. I loved all the pockets of colors around the grounds. 🙂

Erin hid for a few minutes while we walked Dustin out and asked him to face away. The contrast of the coral tie and his suit perfectly matched Erin’s bouquet.

Erin and Dustin decided to take their formals before the ceremony so they could spend as much time with their guests after the vows and I always think that’s a great idea! Not only does it allow the couple to relax immediately after the ceremony, but we get to photograph them right as they finish getting ready, which means less wrinkled clothing and fresh makeup and hair. Total bonus!
Dustin and Erin were easy to photograph. They always tended to lean towards one another and it was ridiculously cute how quickly they could make one another smile. 🙂

We snuck in the bridal party as well. I know I normally post color, but for some reason the B&W’s really struck me. Something about removing color really focuses the eye on the individual relationships and bonds.

The wedding ceremony was held indoors. It had a stairway directly behind the ceremony which was wonderful to get the wider/full room shots.

Granted, the close up’s are my favorites. Lots of emotions.

After the ceremony Erin & dustin headed into the reception next door. Did I mention how much I loved mason jars & baby’s breath?

Every now and then, I find some light or new areas that I want to use as backdrops, including this wedding. Once I found the spot, ran inside and asked Erin & Dustin if I could borrow the for 10 minutes. I’m so glad they said yes, because I kinda absolute love the series of photos I grabbed here.

The dancing started pretty soon after we got back. The country club wedding had the perfect atmosphere for a lot of laughs, silly dances and tons of memories.

Thank you Dustin & Erin. I love working with couples who are just ridiculously happy. <3
