Everyone, I’d like to introduce you to my beautiful sister-in law Pam and her fiancé, Kyle. I was lucky enough to photograph their Las Vegas engagement a few months ago, and I wanted to share a few images from their session.

I’ll start by mentioning the fact that although I do primarily photograph in beautiful Oregon; I take every opportunity I can to photograph out of state as well. I’ve photographed in many states across the country, but Las Vegas is one of my primary destinations because I used to live there. Now, I fly in once a year and schedule a few shoots with some of my past clients. This year, Pam asked if I could fly in to photograph her engagement. I immediately jumped at the chance to fly in and photograph such a memorable occasion.
I’ve photographed Kyle and Pam before, so they wanted something a little different. They ended up choosing a Las Vegas themed session. We then scheduled to meet downtown in the early morning to avoid the crowds as much as possible.

We found a couple of locations that added some variety to her their Las Vegas engagement. A small area with pillars and a makeshift archway gave a classic look which I really enjoyed.

We then found our way to Freemont Street. Thankfully, the early morning worked to our advantage and we avoided the big crowds.

And of course, in the meantime Pam and Kyle looked fantastic. It was adorable to hear them talk about their wedding and see how much the two care about one another.

We ended the session by the Binions casino and got a little glow of light streaming down on them which I absolutely loved.

Thank you Kyle and Pam for asking me to photograph your Las Vegas engagement. I can’t wait to see you guys tie the knot next April! 🙂
