I realize I haven’t posted much in the recent months.  With the holidays, a trip to visit my family in California, my husband’s birthday and of course the common flu, I’ve definitely slacked on blog posts.  So what’s been new?  Just a sweet little thing called a new lens.  My husband bought me a lovely little Canon 14-40mm F4.0 lens which is absolutely gorgeous at taking wide angle shots.  We spent some time on a little personal Portland photo walk by Waterfront Park to test out the lens and I absolutely love it!

Originally I had the idea to purchase this lens for more landscape use (because we are in the great Pacific Northwest!), but I think it’s going to be a fantastic lens for weddings and portraits.  I mean, with this much space, just image the wonderful shots with a bride and groom! *swoon.*   I cannot wait!
