I believe graduating high school is one of the biggest pinnacles of life. Where a person goes from adolescence to adulthood. In the midst of school activities, college applications & a ridiculous amount of homework, seniors are realizing who they will become as individuals.
I am here to capture that experience.
I moved to Portland, Oregon out of a whim for a new more fulfilling life with my husband in late 2013 just two weeks after our wedding.
I'm a believer in pursuing a life filled with unique experiences and joy. I shoot from the heart and want to preserve every moment in a way that celebrates the beauty just as it unfolded.

Where you choose to shoot your senior session is very important. The location will set the mood for the shoot and it can be a great way to incorporate your personality or have a sentimental meaning. Here are a few ideas to start thinking about your senior session location!
Sometimes a senior just wants a location that showcases their personality in a fun & modern way. The city can offer tons of textures and color among the buildings and city streets that adds to the vibrancy and energy of the portraits.
Possible locations include: downtown, school campuses, carnivals, and small neighborhoods with funky personalities.
You can't name the Pacific Northwest without thinking about the vast and beautiful landscapes right in our backyards! If you want to show your love for the outdoors this is the perfect place to do so.
Possible locations include local parks, by a river, a waterfall, open fields and forested areas.

Yep! Oregon is known for rain and even I cannot control the weather…. yet. When this happens, you will have the option to re-schedule your session for another day/time, as long as you do so within 3 hours prior to the start of your session time.
Yes! I used to work in a portrait studio and I felt stiff & didn't like that the sessions looked so similar. Working outdoors in different locations keeps me on my toes creatively. I adore natural light and the way color & texture can completely transform an ordinary image into something amazing.
Well…. most likely in a public restroom or your or my car. Don’t worry, we’ll make sure nobody can see in there!
You can always bring someone with you as a chaperone. If you would like to have a friend join you in the session, please keep in mind that they can make a quick appearance with you for about 5 or 10 minutes, but will never be photographed independently.
YAS! As long as our location allows for pets and as long as you have someone come with you who can hold on to your pet after his/her appearance.
Yes. Yes! YES!! However, please expect a small travel fee to cover the cost of travel time & vehicle expenses (such as gas).
