I believe in love. I believe that everyone has a unique story. That everyone deserves their story to be preserved truthfully, uniquely and artistically.
I am a wedding photographer.
I moved to Portland, Oregon out of a desire for a new, more fulfilling life with my husband in late 2013, just two weeks after our wedding.
I'm a believer in pursuing a life filled with unique experiences and joy. I shoot from the heart and want to preserve every moment in a way that celebrates the beauty just as it unfolds in front of my lens.
I moved to Portland, Oregon out of a desire for a new, more fulfilling life with my husband in late 2013, just two weeks after our wedding. I fell in love with the majestic scenery that the Pacific Northwest provides. I adore the great outdoors and I love capturing weddings that fuse the surrounding landscapes to help tell their love story.
So at heart, I am a believer in love.
The type that yells in public places as well as the kind that whisper in your ear. The kind that makes you willing to drive an hour for lunch just because you know he's craving a Cuban sandwich. The kind that forces you to apologize immediately after your Latin blood boils too quickly. The kind that keeps you snuggled indoors all weekend as you binge-watch Game of Thrones. That kind that loves planning for big and small adventures. The true, big and small kind of moments kind of love.
I love being witness to love stories. I love noticing what what makes each one unique and seeing what brings two people together to say, "I do." These are the stories I want to capture.
I met my husband when I was 29 years old. We were engaged three months later. We had a pre-wedding honeymoon to Italy that we planned with just enough time for my passport to arrive. A week before our wedding, we quit our jobs so that we could pack up our belongings in Las Vegas, NV and drive out to Portland as soon as we were married. At the time, neither of us had visited the area for longer than 24 hours. We arrived with our dog Harley Quinn, whatever else we could fit in the trunk of my husband's Cadillac and checked into our hotel as we searched for a new home address. Five years later, Oregon is now our home and we couldn't be happier with all our unconventional decisions.
That's our love story.
